The World Prayer Assembly (WPA) 2023 is a global gathering of believers under the theme ‘Wave of Glory’ to unite in prayer and ignite a movement of spiritual renewal. The event will take place in Perth, Western Australia, Oceania from October 3rd-6th, 2023.

The purpose of WPA 2023 is to bring together Christians from around the world to pray for spiritual awakening, revival, and the transformation of nations. The event aims to strengthen the global prayer movement and connect believers for a unified purpose.

WPA 2023 is open to all Christians who have a heart for prayer and a desire to see God’s Kingdom advance on earth. This includes pastors, church leaders, ministry workers, and believers from various denominations and backgrounds.

A list of recommended hotels and accommodation near the event venue can be found here. Attendees are responsible for booking their accommodation independently.

The primary language for WPA 2023 will be English. Please check the event website for information on available translation services during the event.

Unfortunately, we are not able to supply any food or refreshments at the venue but there are many local places where you can buy food within a 5-to-10-minute walk either at Elizabeth Quay or in the city centre. There are also places to fill up your water bottle within the convention centre.

There will be specific activities running alongside the main program and breakout sessions to cater for both children and youth. Further details can be found here: Kids Festival & Youth Festival.

Yes! The meetings are open to all ages from the youngest to the oldest. But there will also be special activities arranged for children and youth. See question: Will there be a separate program for children or youth

Although we would love you to be here in person, we understand that it is not always possible. Therefore, we will be providing a livestream link for the main meetings (and/or evening meetings?). Details regarding this will be posted on the website nearer the event.

Will the River Cruise be accessible for wheelchair users?

The cruise can accommodate wheelchairs however gangways are narrow (0.73m wide) and can be difficult to access. You will be required to walk and step over a small lip into the main cabin, and we will have helpers to assist you with transferring the wheelchair onboard.

 

Will the seats be allocated on the River Cruise?

There is no seat allocation. However, there are plenty of seats onboard. You are encouraged to move around, meet and pray with different people.

 

Will there be refreshments servicing during the cruise?

There will be no refreshments served as part of the cruise. Outside food and drink are not permitted onboard. Passengers can purchase non-alcoholic drinks onboard. Only card payment is accepted.

Yes. Refunding is available but there will be a $50 fee to cover administration costs.

Alternatively, you may donate your ticket to allow someone to come in your place or invest towards the next prayer gathering.

Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for tickets of golden age (75+), students and children.

If coming from overseas, you may need a Business Visitor Stream Visa (subclass 600). If this applies to you, email us at admin@wpa2023au.org with your ticket confirmation and a photo of your passport. We will then send you an invitation letter to assist you with your application process. Please note closing date for this is 16th September
